Limit LAN usage


hello,

i have windows application backup plenty of files (about 50,000 files) over lan.

the problem while application works network resources not responding, cannot access server or connect remotely.

the application runs on local computer , copying files located on local server.

i'am using io.directory.getfiles() discover files , io.file.copy() copy them, sync function runs within system.componentmodel.backgroundworker.

is there way limit lan usage of worker or whole appliction?
