biztalk® adapter pack launches @ office developers conference

 

on monday february 11th, announced availability of biztalk® adapter pack @ office developer conference.  biztalk® adapter pack provides single solution , securely connect line of business (lob) data custom-developed .net application, sql server-based business intelligence solution, or office business application (oba).  the 3 adapters available in release siebel, sap , oracle db.  

  

the biztalk adapter pack available on march 1st.  please contact microsoft representative pricing details. the adapter pack license included biztalk server 2006 r2 developer, standard, , enterprise editions. not included in branch edition. customers have purchased biztalk server 2006 r2 software assurance have access biztalk adapter pack through software assurance program. 

 

we announced biztalk adapter pack: office developer program.  program provides participants access code, support , direct access product team bug fixes , change requests.  working office developers directly validate additional office/sharepoint scenarios. if interested in validating sharepoint , office scenarios, please visit following site to register (note mean need log in using windows live id access site).

BizTalk Server 2013 Azure VM Log Shipping and HA for hosts

hi , background: for our customer, having a  2 biztalk , 1 sql setup of environment. [biztalk server 2013 azure vms provisioned azure gallery, sql server 2012 azure vm ]. in current configuration, there no high availability or disaster recovery plan set. want implement dr , possibly ha configuration on these servers. i have few questions regarding same. please let me know thoughts on same. currently writing log files (log shipping files) mounted/attached drive same sql server. how move these log files across secondary site since shared storage not supported. in case of sql server crash, losing log files since reside on same server. please share options on how can move these periodically between datacenters. for hosts pop3, ftp need host clustering (which requires biztalk machines present on windows cluster traditionally), please let know how achieve in azure scenario thanks , regards, ujjwal devarapalli -ujjwal you can refer article, issue azure vm lo...
