Regarding SQL Server Agent Jobs for Biztalk


hi all,

why messagebox_message_cleanup_biztalkmsgboxdb  job preferred stopped ?

we have issue spool growing , lead lot of errors in biztalk production environment..

i believe job in cleaning msgbox database inturn takes control on spool growing ? 

any other alternative take care of issue ? believe suspended instance should cleaned regularly. 

please suggestions

highlighted, messagebox_message_cleanup_biztalkmsgboxdb  job started messagebox_message_managerefcountlog_biztalkmsgboxdb job. therefore, recommended keep job disabled.

whenever message published in biztalkmsgboxdb, ref count  calculated. sum of matching subscribers message.  whenever subscriber subscribes message, 1 deducted ref count.  finally when ref count reaches 0 message should removed  message box. work handled messagebox_message_cleanup_biztalkmsgboxdb job.


regarding messagebox_message_managerefcountlog_biztalkmsgboxdb, it runs in loop continuously in spite of scheduled run once per minute if see status executing :1 (purge)  is fine. don't worry it.

hi , background: for our customer, having a  2 biztalk , 1 sql setup of environment.
