svcutil

hi all,

        i'm starting studying wcf , svcutil can used generate classes connect given wcf service: including service contract, wcf client  , data contract (all in single file). there way make each class generated on single file? thinking having client accessing several services uses common contracts (sharing same class).  if try to   import generated code client these services have conflicts, won't i?

unfortunately there no way let svcutil generate different files each class.

and, if want svcutil generate existing types instead of new types, can try use /reference option:

svcutil.exe <servicepath> /reference types.dll
