SSO clustering question - recovering from server failure

howdy

using biztalk 2010, have our sso service running on our sql cluster, 2 servers.

one of sql servers went down, have rebuilt , added cluster, database side fine still have sso issues.

after trying few things , researching; current plan, sound correct?  unfortunatly not have non production envionment practice on.

  • fail on msdtc to rebuilt server.  (need believe because configuring sso doesn't work without msdtc)
  • use biztalk config , configure sso join existing database
  • backup key on working server
  • fail on sso
  • restore key onto new server

sound reasonable?

thanks

paul

failover msdtc ensure msdtc configuration correct & same across both nodes :)

and plan reasonable. matter of fact entirely workable.

regards.
