Resource Management SharePoint 2016


hi,

since removal of group work lists, can offer advice on best method of resource management within sharepoint 2016 calendar?

in sharepoint 2010 (and 2013 if activated legacy views) create group calendar book meeting rooms , equipment accordingly.  this feature no longer available within sharepoint 2016 wish do.

if offer advice of guidance on best method achieve this, appreciated.

i using sharepoint server 2016 on premises.

hi,

here 1 solution reference.

go below path , find webtemp xml file, find “group work site" , update hidden="false", create 'group work site'.

c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server extensions\16\template\1033\xml

Catalog Staging

when staging catalog there interruption in availability of catalog on target server?   i see reference in documentation under synchronizing web farms says: "you should synchronize web farm during off-peak hours minimize disruption in run-time operations." i don't see explanation of these disruptions or types of staging apply to. if have thousand skus need staged or more import apis don't have throttling feature blast database doing crud operations.   so means should perform staging off-peak hours don't tax database.   -max Commerce Server  >  Commerce Server 2007
