Threading

hi all,

i have code lock function called synchronize. function synchronize data remote server. function lock application untill gets reply server. time server busy of down , reply takes lot of time , application stucked.

how can solve problem using threading or solution.

please help.

let me see if understand problem. trying synchronize access application remote server. using lock, tie entire application. typical scenario want perform call server asynchronously on background thread. foreground thread can update ui , potentially cancel remote call if it's taking long.
