using a C# .Net dll from VBA Excel

hi

have created class methods , properties , packed in .net dll. have signed assembly, registered using gacutil,
, built dll "make com-visible" option.
however, dll not appear in "available references" list in excel code view, , if try reference using "browse" button, error there error importing dll.

have make dll visible in available references list in vba ide in excel?

did try ask on vsto (visual studio office) forums? might have more info needs of office.
this doesn't seem issue .net dll registration, rather office availability requirements.
