Getting nearby Points of Interest (in India) using Bing Maps in Windows Store apps.

i'm new windows store app development. have done few basic apps before this. i'm trying implement bing maps services in app. need nearby places or points of interests based on location. through blogs understand rest services not available india. how places?

do have create database myself?
