Dual NIC issue with Windows XP


 

hi,

 

was curious if out on issue.

 

workstation has dual nic's, 1 embedded, 1 pci.  both on seperate subnets.  machine windows xp professional.

 

the pci nic, intel pro 1000 mt server adapter, receives udp multicast traffic @ 4mb/s, .5% utilization of adapter, machine maxing out @ 50% cpu utilization.

 

once traffic starts coming other nic stops working.  can ping, tracert, resources, can't connect them on port.  example: tracing google.com works, can't connect website, telnetting on port 80 not work.  external , internal resources.  outlook etc etc.

 

only 1 gateway configured , on nic points production/internet.

 

when traffic stopped, other connection starts working.  duplicated on other machines.

 

any ideas?

hi , background: for our customer, having a  2 biztalk , 1 sql setup of environment. How to Share webservice object to all user
