BTDF - Web services deployment (Orch publishing as WCF service)


i wanted include wcf published orch deployed  in btdf.proj way. (btdf 6.0)

i followed instructions adding :  , set virtual directory true

when deploy it, receiving error :

error : vdirlist itemgroup no longer supported.  please convert iisapppool , iisapp. [c:\work\global tfs\biztalk\source\development\brightstar.integration.wcfsqltest\deployment\deployment.btdfproj].

  1. will .btdf proj file automatically create iis pool in iis server or need manually create pool first hit deploy button ? because here first created munually apppool

jb : know not create app pool  first time. in case use “octopus deploy” btdf deployment instructions in octopus creates apppool us.

  1. what difference between 'wcfservicedescription.xml' , under app_data 'servicedescription.xml' ?

jb: 'servicedescription.xml' contains purely schema information , assembly schema belongs to.

      'wcfservicedescription.xml' contains properties entered wcf publishing wizard,receive location details created , binding details.

  1.       from screenshot looks copied inetpub source control. stuff matters “app_data” folder,******.svc file , web.config , not .csproj file

hi , background: for our customer, having a  2 biztalk , 1 sql setup of environment. [biztalk server 2013 azure vms provisioned azure gallery, sql server 2012 azure vm ]. in current configuration, there no high availability or disaster recovery plan set. want implement dr , possibly ha configuration on these servers. i have few questions regarding same. please let me know thoughts on same. currently writing log files (log shipping files) mounted/attached drive same sql server. how move these log files across secondary site since shared storage not supported. in case of sql server crash, losing log files since reside on same server. please share options on how can move these periodically between datacenters. for hosts pop3, ftp need host clustering (which requires biztalk machines present on windows cluster traditionally), please let know how achieve in azure scenario thanks , regards, ujjwal devarapalli -ujjwal you can refer article, issue azure vm lo...

How to send non-standard Content-Type header ?
