Cannot delete or create a maintenance plan after installing SQL Server SP3


when try delete existing maintenance plan i receive message:  the connection manager "local server connection" not acquire connection because package offlinemode property true. when offlinemode property true connections cannot acquired.

when try create new maintenance plan, receive message:  cannot show editor task. additional information: exception hrresult: 0xc0010014 (microsft.sqlserver.dtsruntimewrap).

this occurred after trying apply sql2005 sp3 rtm.  had problem applying passive node.  opened call microsoft , removed active node possble owners in cluster.  applied patch passive node.  proceeded apply activie node after added active node back.



i contacted microsoft , told needed complete method 1 of http://support.microsoft.com/kb/919224

this fixed problem.

hi , background: for our customer, having a  2 biztalk , 1 sql setup of environment.
