Difference between vb arraylist and c# arraylist


is there difference  between arraylist in visual basic , arraylist in c#? 

i had convert c# code vb , there call make in third party api requires me pass in an arraylist.  when in c# works fine, when in vb, vaque exception api.  ideas?
